Presenting an overview of Canadian waste issues in the Zero Waste North America panel on behalf of Zero Waste Canada. Participating in the various events scheduled for ‘zero waste week‘ in the Bay area.

Presented research on Zero Waste Theory and Practice within plenary session on the future of waste management with examples of zero waste practices in San Francisco and Vancouver. Networked with experts in the waste community to learn more about Canadian waste diversion projects.

May 2012 – SPEAKER
Waste 2012 Conference, Coffs Harbor, Australia
Presented research on Zero Waste Theory and Practice to an audience of approximately 100, comprised of primarily industry and government representatives. Highlighted zero waste efforts in San Francisco and the state of South Australia.

Presented research on Zero Waste Theory and Practice to academics primarily from the philosophy discipline. Highlighted San Francisco as a case study of zero waste in practice.
